  • Residence Description: Most Nitrins opt to live in airships, in glass homes on the edge of a cliff, or cloud cottages
  • Estate Colors: Light blue, indigo, white, silver, grey
  • Symbol: Cloud
  • Representative Animal: Dragonfly, hawk or falcon
  • Original Denizens: Sylphs, pegasus, atmos jinn, sphinx, sirens, valkyries
  • Sports & Recreation: Plunging (see Sheffield’s Alternative Athletics & Other Disportations for descriptions and details), Twister, tiddlywinks, badminton
  • Mascot: For centuries it was a Sylph, but the species recently protested, stating the representation put them in an unfavorable light. The new mascot is a foam cloud that many mistake for a marshmallow who is on the receiving end of a good deal of mocking
  • Favored Foods: Soufflés, fluff, cotton cloud candy
  • Musical Instruments of Choice: Bagpipes, harmonica, wind chimes, kazoo, the sounds of the wind, air horn, whoopie cushion
